And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda - Single
The latest single is a new rendition of the classic Australian ballad “And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda”. Lyrically an extremely powerful song, Martin has managed to capture the raw emotion of the story and make it his own .
Written by Eric Bogle in the 1970’s, it is the story of a soldier who survived Gallipoli. Skillfully worded, the song doesn’t preach or blame, rather it makes you think, even more than that, it makes you feel!
If you have never really listened to this song - you really should!
